I wish you the best in this journey. I love taking breaks from social media (I have been taking at least 1 month per year for the last 6-7 years and totally changed my relationship with social media and I've learned a lot).

I hope you can focus on the things that are important to you and that guide you towards your goals. 🦋 You’re an inspiring person, and I hope other people that follow you, start doing this kind of stuff, I think it’s so important but the majority are afraid of doing it.

Good for you for taking social media breaks! The contrast of getting back onto social media after a break is so stark that I can’t deny how much it effects me. I’ve been off for about a week and a half now and feeling awesome! Way more focused!

Same! Every time I take a break I feel so anxious to open up social media again, but what it’s helping me with that it’s thinking what people I want to unfollow or what people or content I want to follow know (before I open up the app) and when I open it go straight to unfollow those and follow the new accounts that are making me feel more at ease when I am consuming social media.

There’s this thing that people take social media to seriously and if you unfollow them they get mad, or maybe you just don’t want to lose contact, so I just mute their posts and/or stories without unfollowing them. I hope that can help you with that feeling. 💙
